Product Developer (m/f/d) Meat

Your responsibilites:

  • Development of innovative spice, functional, and additive blends for meat, sausage, and convenience products
  • Independent management of national and international development projects - from concept to market readiness
  • Planning, conducting, and evaluating laboratory, pilot plant, and production trials  
  • Transfer of development approaches from the laboratory and pilot plant to industrial mass production
  • Technological optimization of existing formulations and applications
  • Preparation and delivery of product presentations, customer training sessions, and application tests - both in-house and on-site at the customer’s location
  • Evaluation and implementation of new strategic raw materials and technological solutions
  • Close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and international customers 

Requirements for the role:

  • Completed training in the butchery trade or the meat products industry, ideally supplemented by
    • a degree in food technology (with a focus on meat) or
    • further training as a master butcher (m/f/d) or meat technologist (m/f/d)
  • Several years of experience in product development or application technology in the meat and sausage products sector
  • Strong technical understanding of meat products and processing technologies
  • Enthusiasm for customer-oriented development work
  • Good English skills for international collaboration
  • Proficiency in MS Office and, ideally, SAP
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a structured approach to work
