Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for procuring raw materials, food additives and samples of defined product categories
  • In this context, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, qualifying, auditing and developing suppliers
  • Negotiating, concluding and processing contracts will also fall within your area of responsibility
  • You will be responsible for medium- and long-term planning and for the strategic orientation of your product group
  • Therefore, you will regularly monitor and analyze the activities of the global markets relevant to you
  • Participation in cross-location and cross-departmental projects rounds off your job profile 

Requirements for the role:

  • You have a degree in economics with a focus on purchasing or have completed commercial vocational training with specialist further training
  • In addition, you have several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally of raw materials
  • You are confident in using the MS Office package, and SAP skills are desirable
  • You have a high degree of negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Strong communication skills in German and English round off your profile
