Procurement Manager (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:
- You procure machinery, plant and technical services as part of investment projects.
- You are responsible for developing and implementing an energy procurement strategy.
- You monitor and analyse the energy and procurement markets and use this to develop product group and procurement strategies.
- You draw up tenders independently and carry out bid analyses and award procedures.
- The strategic selection, evaluation and development of suppliers form part of your remit, as do price, contract and terms negotiations.
- You carry out regular supplier audits and performance reviews.
- You identify potential for savings and optimisation and implement these.
- You play an active role in digitalisation projects and projects aimed at improving procurement processes.
- You compile key performance indicators and reports to serve as a basis for management decision-making.
Requirements for the role:
- A successfully completed degree in business administration or engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years’ professional experience in technical or strategic procurement, including supplier management and contract negotiations
- Experience in the procurement of capital goods, energy or technical services is desirable
- Strong negotiation skills and a confident manner
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach to work
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP
- Profound English skills
